I took Sculpture I as a class last quarter (I recommend it, fun class for those still in HS). It was like, one of the coolest classes i've ever taken. I got to scuplt such things as Jim Morrison's head, an abstract clay whistle, and a couple other things, including my favorite sculpture that i've ever made. I took pictures of it one night, and now i'm posting them here, to show the world my creative insanity :P

BTW, I got the idea to do this partly from watching one of my insane friends play pranks on the rest of my friends. One day, my friend was making a sandwich. A moment later, insane friend walks into the kitchen, makes a violent thrust at the drawer, grabs a fork, and impales his sandwich.
Then he walked away.
We still don't know why he did what he did. But, I've known him long enough to not question what he does because more often than not, he's just doing something random for no real reason. The can of tomatoes came from a song that insane friend made up on the spot to annoy my friend's dad...I thought it was completely hilarious. The song is about a guy who is stranded on an island with only a can of tomatoes. You would have had to have been there. But, he only came up with that, I elaborated and came up with the plate and the fire. :)

The only thing about this that pisses me off is that i have some red eye, thanks to the flash (I don't know how to correct that). My eyes would be a nice blue color otherwise. The flash also made the sculpture look really bright...grr, stupid quality of flash on that digital camera!
So...that's all. what do you think, DU? Do you think i have any sculpting talent whatsoever? :)
