I know I'm new and I'm posting alot of new threads, but I just had to ask...

Am I the only one who is sick of that Darryl Worley "Have you Forgotten Song?" being forced down our throats. It's getting so I can't even turn on the country music station anymore. Thank goodness for the Dixie Chicks

Not that 9/11 was a good thing, but to use it to promote Bush and his agenda sickens me.

2. I'm a huge DC fan, and of CASH

And I swear, everytime I hear that damn song I want to scream. I think Worley, and Toby... have a lot of blood on their hands. The armed forces went to Iraq, and then into battle singing those damn songs. Let the performers live with it. At least the chicks can hold their heads up, and say "I told you so"

Don't get the wrong idea, I don't listen to radio, I listen to Country. And I'm proud of it.

Humm...is there a large, uh, indie-country music scene? I really don't know too much about that genre, other than the ultrapopular or crossover.
