7. Heh
I have the satisfaction of knowing it was an Inspector Clouseau line and IMDBing it for the specific film.

9. Oddly enough, perhaps
I've never been a big Pink Panther fan. I've never gone in for cloak-and-dagger stuff, and the Clouseau laughs in the films are too few and far between for my limited patience.

But as long as one can quote such lines as "Does your dug bite?" one will survive. :7

Now, Peter Sellers... different story. The man was a genius among geniuses.

10. I think the music definitely eases the gaps in Pink Panther.
And, yes, Sellers was the freaking MAN. He even described his normal self as quite boring -- probably why he was so good as an actor.

BTW, have you seen "The Party"? That is absolutely hilarious.

11. I don't know that one
It got contrasting reviews at IMDB, but it sounds like it's worth Flixing. Thanks for the tip.

Have you seen "Dr. Strangelove" on DVD? In the backstory, it's revealed that Sellers was originally to play four parts, including Maj. Kong. He was concerned about being split that much, but worked on a Texas accent for the role. But during filming or rehearsal (I forget which), he fell out of the B-52 cockpit simulator and broke his leg — and that's what led to Dr. Strangelove being in a wheelchair.

12. "Well, Colonel Bat Guano, if that is your real name..."
Hell yeah, I've seen Dr. Strangelove. :)

As for "The Party," forget the reviews. Some of them mentioned it might be offensive to Indians, but you'll see that it's not. BTW, I'm Indian myself.

You will be laughing like hell, and the music (Henry Mancini again) is also great. You should also know that a lot of the movie was improvised, which is all the more surprising.

13. I Flixed it; thanks
Speaking of improv, Sellers did a lot of it in "Strangelove." He ad-libbed much of the phone conversations with Premier Kissoff and Strangelove's mind-of-its-own gloved hand was his own bit, too. If you zoom in on the DVD when he does the Nazi salute, you can see the Russian Ambassador in the background trying not to laugh.

16. Exchange between Sellers & George Sanders:
Sanders: I believe it was moths.
Sellers: Muths?
Sanders: No, moths.
Sellers: Oh, muths. I thought you said muths.
