17. Actually, I Ended Up With 141
and my name is pretty unique. A lot of them turned out to be online petitions I had signed or comments I had made on other message boards.

I actually found one instance where I had written a long commentary on early Jewish Christianity that had been published as a kind of letter to the editor on a site called Hollywood Jesus. The owner of the site had interlaced it with a lot of critical and uninformed comments. Would have been nice if he had told me.

My first and last names are both adjectives and nouns in the English language. It's an uncommon surname, so none of the hits are actually referring to any person (me included). All the hits are referring to things I happen to share a name with. Without quotes the hits go into the six figures.

45. Or for the uber-geeky, 'grepping.'
grep
<tool, information science> A Unix command for
searching files for lines matching a given regular
expression (RE). Named after the qed/ed editor
subcommand "g/re/p", where re stands for a regular expression,
to Globally search for the Regular Expression and Print the
lines containing matches to it. There are two other variants,
fgrep which searches only for fixed strings and egrep which
accepts extended REs but is usually the fastest of the three.

Used by extension to mean "to look for something by pattern".
When browsing through a large set of files, one may speak of
"grepping around". "Grep the bulletin board for the system
backup schedule, would you?" See also vgrep.

My friend Sam googled his name last year, and got a bunch of stats for races he had been in, X-country, but the sixth one down was a "Senior Hotties" list put up by some sophomores! Whats more, he was number one and the next guy was a "distant second." It went around the school lie wildfire and the site was never updated after that. He was unbelievably embarrassed!

On pages for people sharing just the first and last name, I've seen my death certificate (you know I saved that link, lol). I'm the President of Z&M Motor Line, a train company. I edited a book on Volunteering in Public Schools. I wrote a book on how to raise teenages, and a compainion book for teenagers. There's a memorial painting award named after me at Montgomery College-Rockville.

Using my middle initial with my first and last name yields jack squat. I'm stealth baby!
