Poll question: How many books have you actually completed this year?
Be honest, remember if you lie about it, it only reflects self-delusion!

1. I go through at least a book a week
helps to take mass transit, although I have seen people read while driving.

2. I don't think I've read a single book through to the end this year.
I spend all my time reading on the Internet, now.

I HAVE started a couple of books, like Lying Liars, but never finished.

3. You know, what, nevermind.
I finished one book earlier in the year- Norman Mailer's "The Naked and the Dead." Pretty damned good, loved the characters, but was disappointed with the ending.

almost zero these days. But, I did finish Eric Alterman's "What Liberal Media" and started Conason's new book, and have read quite a few old Agatha Christie mysteries. Not time between work and this to do much else.

I think about three or four. Right now, I'm reading What Liberal Media and taking a while - it's the kind of book I'm very interested in, but want to absorb. I think I'm that way with political books in general. Am quickest on the Harry Potter and John Grisham books.

Depends on how busy I am. Hmmm, looking across the desk, seems that I've finished 4 since Saturday... I read pretty quickly :-)

12. Read: about 26 -- 1/3 for pleasure; 2/3 "required reading" for freelance
assignments.

Wrote: None, alas, although I'm up to chapter 3 in two book projects.

Published: Hopefully a SF anthology I edited will be coming out in
electronic format yet this year.
