I don't want this to turn into a popularity poll....I mean, DUers whose posts you have read, some even for years...and thought...."Oh I hope they are at the next meetup...."

Answers should NOT include people you regularly trade PM's with..

Mine would be:

SoCalDem--the kitty threads....the insightful posts in GD without ever telling anyone to piss off-

Crewleader--the kindest DUer ever. Period. Kind. How could someone NOT love Crew?

NewYawker99--for years, the best mod ever on DU. The ONLY DUer who keeps up with milestones and birthdays.

Ulysses--he looks like my husband, but seems so mild mannered.

Underpants--I am not sure why...probably because I remember the underwear floating across my computer screen; then the panties when he got married-

Matcom---I have never seen a human that could consume that much vodka, and live to post about it.

Catwoman--a DU icon, and the only subject of a "batlight" I have ever known to exist...plus, she has a cool "real name."

The other admin of DU whose name I can't remember right now. Met Skinner and EarlG. Seems like there is another one...but, since I met them, I feel obligated to meet the last one. I wish the college student had been real; I would have met him too.

A couple posters that make me laugh every single day, matcom and BigMcLargeHuge, as well as others I won't name as I don't think they care for me much. But still...

The whole Boston crew, as that's where I grew up, and when I talk about getting a drink from the bubbler, nobody knows what I'm saying.

MrScorpio...for several reasons. Respect being the biggest one.

Bikewriter...I think we could have some stunning conversations.

Southlandshari...because...nah, I'll leave you guessing.

Leftymom...if you don't know why, you're not paying attention.

Lastly, the folks I don't get along with as much as I'd like. I'd love to just sit and talk. Find some middle ground and agree to disagree about some things. You know who you are too.
