1. I like the format

It's a little dark (slightly harder to read, but not bad). I really like your header. Is that art work that you did? Very nice. Makes the site feel very unique. I think the hard part is keeping it up. I just started my first blog a couple of days ago as well. So far I've been good about upkeep. :)

5. I'm not a critic since my PC skills are young but

I did like that self portrait.I feel like that often lol..Can I ask,
how do you start a blog? I have a name in mind for a site which would
be about my personal battle with Rudy Giuliani a kind of David and
Goliath battle only Goliath kicked my ass in public {methaphorically} newspapers,TV,radio he bloodied me good. Is it costly to have a blogsite? Is it technically difficult? How do you promote your blog?

7. I promoted it here.

Other than that no plans to pump it too much, I had my programmer wife set it up for me, and I pay $6 a month to keep it live.

Once its up its pretty much simple to maintain.

8. There are several free blog sites

I use blogspot.com and so far they've been great. You can probably set up a nice looking blog in about 1/2 hour. Best of all, it's free!

unless you have something interesting to say. Simply linking to news stories is tired (but it's a good way to keep daily posting up)

find what it is you have to say, or paint, or show, and use that. It makes the occasional news story more powerful.

but that's just me.

20. Oh dear Lord, I think I feel a tear coming on.

And I'm not being sarcastic. But watch your backs. They're coming for you, and that's not tinfoil. Conservatives see you guys as the new frontier. If you think that "it can't happen here", we thought the same in the 70's. The first place they hit is "moral" something that costs the tax payer money. Here it was Social services then they moved on to abortion. That was the ticket. A moral position that costs nothing, but gets you into heaven no matter who you screwed to accumulate your wealth. Just a word to the wise, from a cynic.
