RIP Arthur Conley
Edited on Wed Nov-19-03 11:21 PM by radiclib
One of the sixties' most underrated soul singers has passed away from intenstinal cancer at 57. Unfortunately, Arthur was best known as "Otis Redding's protege" and for his 1967 #1 hit "Sweet Soul Music", but he was truly gifted and did a lot of other great stuff like "Love Got Me" and "Hand in Glove". Sad day. :(
Sorry if this is a dupe.

1. "Sweet Soul Music" - brings back memories
Maybe HE was the king of 'em all, y'all. Yeah, yeah, oh yeah. RIP.
