2. I seriously doubt it... Did you see him at Walter Reed AMC? |
|
The wounded soldier was trying to ask him a question. * could not even look him in the eyes, and scooted off fast without finishing his scheduled visits. Also, I believe that was the weekend he had "flu" and disappeared to Camp David until Tuesday. Must take a lot of zanax and Jack D to get his brain to sleep. I hope he has nightmares for the rest of his days.

Given that he is void of anything resembling a conscience.
The reason he hauled ass is because while he was at Walter Reed he thought of a few more benefits he could take away from veterans and he wanted to get them down on paper before he forgot.

he never has the guts, unless the parents in question are thoroughly brainwashed in advance by Karl's goon squad.

as far as I know the decision was taken that although he might meet families of soldiers currently in Iraq, he wouldn't meet families whose members had died there - for fear that someone might tell him to fuck off or ask him to explain why their son/brother was dead. Some parents of soldiers currently in Iraq have said in the press here this week that this was not a war we should be fighting and that they have been lied to. The Boy Tony obviously couldn't risk his good friend George being put in an embarrassing position or, possibly, being asked a question to which he couldn't give a believable (or even articulate) answer.
