Guacamole.. Odd for a breakfast, but it just sounded so yummmmmmy..

Now I will have my coffee...and then a nap..

2. Technically, it's not breakfast, since I have not slept yet
I skipped dinner last night, so... I guess you could say it's a verrrrry late dinner or a verrrry early lunch :)

17. Oh, you can't use too much garlic.
If I'm making a large batch, maybe a clove. If not, 1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic is plenty.

8. It just kills me to pay what I do for them, now
When I was a kid , we had 4 or 5 TREES fullof them, and all we did with them was throw them at buses.. Same for Mangoes & papayas..

11. Well the avocado groves had to go, right?
And the orange groves, and mango and papaya...........

Make room for all those strip-malls. Progress, you know.

:(. I always wanted to go back and show my kids where I grew up, but we never went, and now it's all been turned over to the locals, so heaven only knows what's left of our gorgeous base:(

12. NO more strange than mine: fresh pico de gallo!
I was craving it yesterday, I went to bed craving it (no chips) and woke up eating it (without the chips)... Ummmm, nothing like fresh pico, heavy on the cilantro...
