34. happy Thanksgiving Peggy and everyone else who is still awake

at this ungodly hour. I was tossing and turning so i got up to check out DU at 3 AM. It's now ten of 4 and I have to sleep soon, lots of people to feed today. Maybe I should put he turkey in the oven now at 125 degrees so I can sleep til noon? Or should I have hubby go buy a turkey fryer?

Chex Mix. And mashed potatoes for making more lefse early in the morning.

And I drank the rest of the red zinfandel I'd used in the cranberry sauce.

The pies should be good, as the recipe is VERY reliable! I use Libby's Famous Pumpkin Pie recipe, and it has never failed me.....

I'm flattered that you noticed my granite countertops......

It's called "blue-eyed granite" and is quite lovely. The blue spots are iridescent when the light shines directly on them....

I chose it myself.....and I've been so pleased with it......Plus it's durable and heat-proof!
