Pity my parents wouldn't let me keep all the LIFE magazines when I was little. I even knew then (1980, when I was 6) they were pieces of American history... (and they sell for quite a bit of $$$ now. :-( ) 'course, I at the time didn't know what teen pregnancy was nor did I know who Rowan and Martin were or why they were going from comedy to mystery...

Not that I'd sell them, as I love 1960s publications... (most of the issues were 60s/early 70s) The 60s were so cool in terms of creativity. In ways we've improved, in others we've stagnated, in others we've gotten worse. But the 60s were the start of our modern way of life, or so it seems...
