So the vet kept Benny overnight. |
|
It's always something with that little four footed pest. He's starting to cost me a fortune. Last week or so he had to be surgically probed to remove a foxtail out of his nose. Everything was fine until last night when I heard a rusty hinge squeek and it turned out to be Benny trying to meow. He had lost most of his voice. Then I observed that he was having trouble swallowing and he seemed moody.
Today the vet couldn't find anything right off except that he had a fever and he squeeked and coughed while in the vets office. The vet insisted on keeping him overnight. He is going to do a surgical probe in the morning. I feel so bad now because I miss him. He's never been away from home overnight before. I keep wondering if he's scared and lonely and if the dogs barking are spooking him.
Sigh. Poor kitty.

Look at it this way - you can make more money. You can't make another Benny.
I hope he's okay. Poor little squeeky toy.

I'm waiting to hear from them. Actually, I'm going to call right now.
I feel kinda blue and down about this.
