Favourite comic book character?
I'm going with Lord Morpheus and Death from Sandman.

And She-Hulk - any 7 foot tall green girl who fights crime and is a civil rights attorney gets my vote.

And I admit I spent way too much of my adolescence having a crush on Captain Britain.

Khash.

2. Adam Warlock
The Jim Starlin version not this poser update. Love the morally ambiguous crafty character. And the epic storytelling is good too.

Maybe John Constantine too. Hmmm. Another crafty bastard. I see a trend.

3. Yeah, John Constantine!
I was just berating myself for not listing him. Tricky bastard but essentially one of the good guys. There's a great quote for him : "He was a good enough man for the world he lived in".

I also have a thing for Lucifer from Sandman and the Lucifer comics. I guess tricky bastards are the order of the day, huh?

Khash.

5. Anyone that can summon the rulers of Hell
just by yelling out their names and saying he wants to talk to them certainly has something going for him.

Can't remember the name of the story arch, but my favorite Sandman was when Lucifer abdicated the key to Hell to Morpheus. Ahh the memories.

6. I always liked The Batman and Green Arrow...
Especially after the makeover Denny O'Niel and Neil Adams gave to both characters....

Now, I like the Justice League, the mini series they have out...

Not to much at Marvel now... Although as a kid, I liked Captain America, Fantastic Four, Spiderman and S.H.I.E.L.D.... Also, Silver Surfer....

To many cross overs and tie ins and what nots...

Also, story lines just designed to get you buying cross overs... Both major companies do that now... Frustrating...

7. gotta be Spidey
1) he's a skinny geek
2) he's smart and inventive
3) he maintains a running commentary of smart-a$$ comments when he fights
4) Gwen Stacey
5) Mary Jane, Tiger
6) Spidey sense would come in handy
7) climbing on walls and swinging from webs is cool
8) works as a lone wolf, althoug he has team-up and/or fought almost all the other super-heroes, once trying to take on the entire Fantastic Four
9) has existential doubts (but what Marvel character doesn't?)
10) almost the only super-hero who has a momma, although she is his Aunt May.

My 2nd pick might be Iron Man, he has a cool bullet-proof suit with a brazillion gadgets, and he has a Black Sabbath song too. Plus he is dirty, rotten, filthy, stinking rich!

9. Huey Freeman, Dilbert

If they only count as comic strip characters, then I second Morpheus and Sandman comics in general. (especially Goldie, Cain, and Abel).

In middle school, I used to read Elfquest comics. I don't think those are in print any longer.

16. Death is a lovebunny
And she's hot as hell.

I kind of have a soft spot for Delirium as well. She reminds me of me. Thank goodness Desruction gave her Barnabas to look after her.
