Mine is the 1978 VW Pop Top Camper Bus I had in college. Kraft mac & cheese yellow with green and yellow plaid interior.

Like this only yellow. http://john-perry.com/vw/gallery.html

I decided I needed a more "sensible" car. :wtf:

What have you gotten rid of that you want back?

I still have all every album I ever bought up until I started buying CDs - about 500 or so.

On the upside I guess that gives you a reason to shop for music.

6. Some old golf clubs
Specifically a set of Haig Ultra blade irons that I could hit the highest prettiest most dependable draw. The current stuff just flies off the clubface and I have no feel whatsoever.

Also a set of Hogan persimmon woods. Same basic idea. I have no clue with the titanium junk. I hit them shorter and wider. My old friends who I used to outdrive by 40+ yards are now even or past me. One of them kids me that he's glad I screwed up and pretended the old clubs were passe.

Just a toss into the wastebasket, and they were gone. Only for the monetary value, mind you. Watched the first three movies, was entertained, got on with other things.

Oh, I also did the same with the complete set of Welcome Back Kotter bubblegum cards.

But maybe if you explain to her how much you loved it, and how much it meant to you to have something she made for you, it might make her feel really good to know that.

Then you can have a whole mushy, weepy sister moment and just get it over with.

31. Korg A5 guitar effects processor
My dumb ass sold it because I didn't have a foot pedal for it and I was playing live more than recording at the time. My shortsightedness ended up costing me more in the long run, or should I say, it will in the future when I have to buy more effect for recording. I cannot find effects like those any more and I desperately need some of the weirder ones for my weirder songs. I cannot find an exciter or any of those other strange effect I used on a demo I made years ago. Either I put imperfect cuts of 2 of my songs on my new demo when I record again or I sacrifice effect that help make the weird ass songa. <slaps forehead>

I think you should just buy one. You've got to make the song what you want it to be, otherwise you'll never feel like it's right. On the other hand, sometimes having to change things up can take you to some surprising places, sometimes with better results.

With a Holly 4bbl conversion, headers, and a custom drivers seat. Clean simple in-line 6 just tore up the road and out-handled cars that cost over 10 times as much.

I think I've found your car, just $5500.

http://www.chooseyouritem.com/autos/files/83500/83774.html

I think it may not be too far away from you, so just book a plane flight and make it happen.

If you're on I-25, I have to assume either Colorado or New Mexico. You can get a flight to California for a few hundred, then you're home free!

You'll feel a whole lot better when you've got the top down and you're rockin' some good old fashioned Bachman Turner Overdrive. Or maybe Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh!

And then you can look up your ex, pay her a visit and show her what she's missing out on! :toast:

Do it. You won't be sorry.

TOKYO (AFP) - Hello Kitty, the mouthless cat turned global icon of cuteness, will make a foray into the currency market with gold and silver euro coins showing her having the time of her life in Paris.

Order-taking will start Monday for a total of 4,000 coins in five different designs to be minted in Paris, according to Hello Kitty's maker Sanrio and Japanese firm Taisei Coins.

64. Early 1980s model, USA-built Fender Bullet H-2.
It was sold in "The Great Hobby Purge" of 1998. I kept the golf clubs, but sold my 1966 Impala and all my guitars. The other guitars I had were nothing special, but that little Bullet was capable of tremendous tone and sounds. Sigh...

And no, it's not a Squire. Not too bad....I think you can afford it, and you definitely deserve it.

76. That's nice, not QUITE the same model, but close.
That one has two single coil pickups, mine had two double coil pickups. Mine wasn't a Squier either.

A for effort. :)

65. My first teddy bear....
It was the first thing I remember that I got from my Mom. (I was around 3? and I remember her giving it to me)

Anyhoooo, I loved this bear. The stuffing was coming out of his neck but that made him even more precious to me. :)

When we grew up and left home somehow lots of childhood possessions got put in my sister's trunk. Well, the trunk went with her of course, and I was never able to locate my bear after then. :(
My sister is not as sentimental with things that may be valuable to others as she could be. (she's not very thoughtful to say the least)

I really loved that bear. :(

69. That's so sad!

I'm afraid I can't help you with that one at all.

It's kind of like wanting your virginity back. :P

I think you should take something from your sister that she values, just to teach her a lesson. You have my permission.

66. The thing I most regret was selling my 64 Corvette Convertible
If I still owned that car it would be worth a whole lot more than what I paid for it in 1977. In 1977 I paid $2400 for it, today it would be worth up-wards of $30,000.

70. My pocket watch collection...
I had about 50 pocket watches that ranged from the novelty ones to the very nice ones. I had to get rid of them because I was broke. I still wish that I could've kept them. Oh well! They're just things.

73. I had a fabulous music collection,
more than 1300 albums, that I left behind when I moved to England in 1986 because it would've been impossible at the time to bring them. It was like a raw wound for a while; I would wake up in the night feeling the loss.

On the other hand, it taught me the important lesson that things are just that: things. They can be replaced. People are what's important.

75. The only thing I ever got rid of that I wanted back was something I lost.
I had a very nice leather jacket and lost it somewhere in Monterey, I think. :( :( :( :( :( :( I'd had it over 15 years.

85. Hell yes! It would give me an excuse to go back to Monterey. ;)
Juvenile sea lions are very prone to cleptomania, I hear. We'd need to get on one of the whale watching boats in order to make it out to the breakwater. I bet it's stashed under one of the rocks...but if that's the case, I probably don't want it anymore. :) From the smell, I get a pretty good idea of what goes on near the breakwater...whew!

82. My Star Wars action figures
I used to line 'em up like they were a football team, with Boba Fett seven yards deep in the I formation. Chewbacca was a DE in the 4-3, Greedo was a wideout, and C-3PO was out on an island covering the other teams best receiver. God, I love sci-fi!
