I made an appeal to reason over there, and tried to get them to stop attacking each other over their candidate choices, and I was accused of having some sort of secret agenda cause I said I was a former Dean supporter. I guess I'll just have to hang out here till the primary stuff is over. :shrug:

I have been told by a few GD zealots that I was intellectually "in over my head" posting there, and to "go back to your yaks and coffee"! :D

Being reasonable and intelligent will get you nowhere in GD.

And Leftist, I admire your effort, but you learned early not to bother with appeals to higher thinking over there. I used to do it once in a while, and watched my threads sink like stones, or get accusations like the one I just wrote above hurled at me.

I still post in there, but gave up being reasonable about it. :-)

I don't go over there anymore myself. I still don't know who I'm supporting, but I can't stand when people get all nuts with the candidate bashing. Get behind someone and get over it.
