Have you heard about internet leprosy???

And does anyone know what causes it?

I have heard that once an individual gets internet leprosy, if they touch any thread that thread will instantly die...even if it is over 40 posts long! Any poster infected with internet leprosy is considered unclean, diseased, and an outcast by other posters. As a result all flee from the internet lepers who dare to post at DU, and none will respond to the lepers' cries for help.

Do we have a cure for internet leprosy, and if so what is it? And are any who post here willing to put themselves at risk to help our internet lepers? :shrug:

and with internet leprosy, those who have it fear it may never go away! And this feeling only becomes worse with every additional post.
