Calling all Mysties ...
What films do you wish MST3K had lampooned? My candidates (so far): Sunset Boulevard, Mildred Pierce, Showgirls, Queen of Outer Space ... others?

1. I think they DID do Queen (get you minds out of....

the gutter). If not, it would be GREAT candidate.
But best of all: "The Ten Commandments".

Oh, Moses Moses....
If you ever saw it perhaps you remember that it was ALWAYS Moses, Moses: even God, when M.M. was slogging through the desert winds, called him Moses, Moses.
One of my favorite movies as a kid.

Other possibilities:
"King of Kings" with Jeffrey Hunter as a blue-eyed Jesus, real Euro-centric drivel there.

Any Bette Davis movie: "Now Voyager" comes to mind.

3. Both the Bette and Joan C. filmographies
would be great. What about "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane"!!!!

5. That cigarette lighting scene with Claude Rains
would be great! Did you see their "Hamlet" (out on latest DVD set)? The more serious the movie (a la "Ten Commandments"), the better the fodder ...

2. I'm dying for MST3K to do "Attack of the Clones."
That was one BAD movie:

4. So true ...
Natalie Portman performance could be fabulously skewered ... and a lot of the "Star Trek" movies would be easy targets ... Didn't know they'd done "Queen" - got to find that!

6. Hot Rods to Hell
That one is BAD on so many levels. The gang would've had a blast with it.
Another one would have to be War of the Gargantuas. Specifically, the scene in the airport with Kip Hamilton singing the WORST SONG EVER. A golden opportunity missed.

7. "Reefer Madness" and "Glen Or Glenda"

One Saturday night about ten years ago, my friends and I watched both films on VHS and had one hell of a blast coming out with one-liners! Personally, I think MST3K would've been much better off with films like those than with such painfully horrendous crap as "Hobgoblins" and "Werewolf." :puke:
