BIRDMAN: RIP, my New and Old Friend

Barbara & I were classmates of Mike at St. Joseph's University (the college)in the early 70's. We were reminded of that fact on that glorious and wonderful June Saturday in the Cradle of Liberty, at the Evil DUers Funfeast at Doobies in Philly.

Mike and I spent a lot of "Remember when...." time discussing everything from the post-Kent State demonstrations-when I,ever the radical,"struck the colors" at the campus flagpole- to St. Joe/Villanova games at the Palestra and out in the open kegs on the back porches of Residence Halls.

God speed,Mike...we shall miss you. I guess God needed a good RE-Write man up there.:cry:
