For now, though, it's probably going to be laced with irony.

So, lately on DU I've been complaining/discussing my relationship (still in the pre-stages) with a girl named Amy at a neighboring school. Here is part three in this spectacle.

It was my friend's birthday party yesterday, so I went out and had a great evening. We ended up playing console games in a basement and talking about stuff. The Birthday Girl asked me about Amy, and I gave her a basic rundown -- former exchange student, dark hair, (cough) really fucking pretty. And the Birthday Girl says, that's really weird, because my ex-boyfriend is dating somebody with the same name who's also an exchange student as of about a week ago.

We talked for a little while about that, and decided that it's not necessarily the same person. Still, that's kind of really fucking weird.

So, if it turns out the worst is true (for me, anyway), then that should be pretty interesting in the blow-up-in-your-face sort of way. It won't be funny for about a month, but then I'll have some great stories to share with my friends from home.
