I'm trying to watch my Eagles just kill the New Orleans Saints and it's like every other freaking commericial is some promo tied it to that utter dreck of a movie 'Cat in the Hat'.

I've heard nothing but horrible reviews and it's a shame they had to make a movie and destroy a wonderful children's book. But can we stop it with all the damn commerical and promo tie-ins. I just want to enjoy my damn football game!!!!!

1. No! I can't believe how many product tie-ins there are
with that stupid-looking movie. It makes me mad - seems very un-Seuss-like.

With all the commercials I don't think that movie will even need to do well in the box office - it's already got the corporate funding!

3. I Don't Like It Either
But it warms my heart to think that the Rethuglican CEO's tied their advertising and expected revenue/income with a "dog" of a movie.

If we ever manage to yank some of the corporate tax breaks, we can manage to have responsible people run a company for a profit at an honest salary...for a change.

4. meet your new friend
The mute button. Get in the habit of muting consumerist noise which is just designed to brainwash you anyway. Then look away, pick up a book or something until the show is back on.

Once you get in the habit, there is no turning back. You might catch yourself accidentally being exposed to an ad because the remote wasn't handy, and you will leap for the remote, because the obnoxious noise pollution from your set will scare the hell out of you.

Meet the mute button, and NEVER be driven crazy by ads again.

It's unfunny adult humor with a PG rating.
