Just bought me a new git-tar

It's actually an old one, a '70s 'lawsuit' copy of the Gibson Dove. Couldn't afford the hefty price tag of a Dove, and this one's pretty close. Here's the Dove, and this is pretty much what mine looks like:



I got it because I want to paint it up to look like Elvis' 1969 ebony Dove that he used for the first half of the '70s (but without the custom fretboard with "Elvis Presley" inlay):



I don't even care how the thing plays because, for me, it's just a prop for a couple of songs. But now I'm all excited about playing guitar again and might just follow though with the promise I made myself, long ago, that I'd get a lot better on guitar...maybe I'll buy another one to actually play, when I scrape the semolians together.
