This has me flabbergasted!
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 05:48 PM by NightTrain
I keep an old red towel folded up on my bathroom floor to step on when I get out of the shower. Just now, I picked the towel up to shake the wrinkles out of it, only to find the part that had touched the floor full of gaping holes, and piles of red powder on the floor where the towel had just been!

Can somebody explain how in the hell my bathroom floor towel dissolved like that? I've never seen anything like it before! :wtf:

3. Blame Willie Dixon
His little red rooster got in there & pecked that towel till it fell to Patsy Cline pieces.

4. How long had it been there without being moved?
If years, that could be the answer.

if it just the one day, that's odd, and I don't have an answer.

6. Do you wash your bathroom floor with anything that contains bleach?
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 05:59 PM by nothingshocksmeanymo
If so, then cleaning residue stayed on the floor and when dampened by your feet from getting out of the shower ate away at the towel.

7. Do you use Comet and/or Bleach to clean the loo?
If so, remember.... cotton and chlorine are bitter enemies.

8. I may have figured it out

A couple of weeks ago, I had to call the superintendent because my bathtub drain was clogged. Perhaps some of whatever he used to unclog the drain spilled onto the floor, and the super didn't wipe it up as thoroughly as he could have!

Just a thought....
