Anyone ever been to Cuba? |
|
I have a family member that may do some humanitarian/professional work there for about a month. I am wondering about safety issues or anything else of note. Any information or links would be appreciated.

1. Only on the Naval Station. |

But, from what I know of the Cuban people I worked with, they are very warm and welcoming people. And the food is fantastic.

5. A group went from my church |

and I would have loved to have gone, but I couldn't afford it.
The returnees tended to view the whole experience through their political preconceptions, but what they all agreed on was that the Cuban people were fantastically warm and hospitable and willing to share the little that they had.
