We're adopting our fourth rescue collie, an 8 year old sable guy who has seizures once every two or three weeks. Just wanted to know whether anyone on the board has experience with canine epilepsy, and whether there are any dietary guidelines I should be following.... One friend said no bone meal, ever....

There are dog foods with no corn that a friend of mine swears by for canine epilepsy. Guess the mold on the corn can trigger a dog. Thanks for being an adopter.

I don't think she has epilepsy though. Only happens about once or twice each summer.

She has been on phenobarbitol for 2 years now. It does a pretty good job of controlling it, most of the time.
