That he is guilty until proven innocent, I don't think so. But I am sure more then half of the US population thinks MJ is guilty.

It's all fun teasing him about his nose (which shuldn't be fun if we were super PC) but when we start to say he's guilty of horrible crimes before he's sentenced we go pretty low.

but in cases of rape or child molestation, doesn't matter who you are, you are stigmatized as guilty until proven innocent.

Anyway, if he can't prove his innocence, it is his fault. He was given a warning shot 10 years ago. He should have done everything in his power to prevent something like this ever again.

11. In a rape case, the victim has to prove she/he is telling the truth.

If you accused someone of rape, you would have to endure a humiliated court case to prove you are telling the truth, your sex life with be brought out in detail, you will be publically accused of lying, really want sex, of being confused.


If the victim loses the case, for insufficent evidence does that mean the rape never took place. Sex crimes are for more complicated than that and hard to prove in most circumstances, that does not mean it doesn't happen, but I does explain why so many sex crimes go unreported.
If we say the accused it innocent until proven guilty, does that make
the accuser a lier until proven to be telling the truth. If MJ is innocent, then a twelve year old boy will be lying in what will be one of the biggest trials in history.
