Coloradoans: What's the horrible stench? (Bush in town)
Edited on Mon Nov-24-03 02:29 PM by hlthe2b
ohh, Shrub just arrived in Colorado Springs, greeted by head Repug grubmeister, Bill Owens. (and of couse all the local news channels are talking over themselves with excitement)....

Supposedly he will meet with Fort Carson military families who lost members in Iraq. THe news did at least mention the concern of military families who believe Bush has "ignored them" and has not shown any compassion towards their lost family members...

I guess Rove is trying to buffer Clark's recent comments.

Go CoLiberal and others down there protesting!

1. The stench will be coming to my town tomorrow.
AWOL is coming to Arizona tomorrow to talk to retirees about Medicare, but mostly for the fund-raising he will be doing. Scottsdale Airport and surrounding area will be shut down for several hours.

Even if I could get time off of work to protest his butt, I would not be able to get within 10 miles of him.

2. Those two are made for each other...
Colorado Springs is a fucking right-wing shithole that reeks of corruption, hypocrisy, religious bigotry, fake piety, and greed. When we lived there, we had to drive down from Boulder regularly to visit my in-laws. Talk about going from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Chimpy can have the place--and it can have him!

:puke:
