And I honestly hadn't heard that the Clash was being used as a commercial. If I had, I would have been pissed. The rest of them, while bands I love and admire, are just good music.
Jane's Addiction is sad -- I remember hanging out in the parking lot of Grateful Dead concerts and singing along with the hippies. Though the Deadheads were not even remotely close to being anti-capitilist, they most definitely were anti-sellout.
