I just have this weird feeling that 2006 is gonna be a great year...
Edited on Sun Jan-01-06 12:14 AM by SmileyBoy
I've never had this feeling for any year before. Not only do I think things are gonna be great for me this year personally, but politically as well. I think it's gonna be a great year for at least most of us. Personally, I might be accepted into the architecture program at my college. I also have a steady job lined up for me this January, and I'm eventually going to buy a new computer. Politically, I think it'll also be really good. I think we might take back at least the Senate this election. I've even heard stories from a couple other DUers that their year has already started off on the right foot just a few minutes into the year on the East Coast.

Don't ask me way, but I think after most of us have had a crappy 2005 personally and politically, I think this year is gonna be a lot better. I just have this strange feeling that it's going to be a damn good year.

Anyways, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

1. Happy New Year in about 45 minutes from me!
Everything has turned to shit from 2001 on-politically and personally.
God, I do hope it gets better!

4. That's funny you feel this way because so do I ....
I NEVER really care about New Years and all the hoopla but I this year is different. I really feel 2006 is going to ROCK. I hope I feel this because it's intuition and not just wishful thinking. I was just talking to a friend and said I was watching the crystal ball drop in NY and I got chills. Now that is a first for me.

6. I feel the same way.
2005 just sucked for me on a personal level. Usually, I'm all depressed on New Years Eve. But, I've actually been looking forward to the new year and feel a really positive vibe for some reason.

Politics should be very interesting this year too!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
