1. LOL I performed my own routine to that song when I was about 6 or 7 .

True story . I was at the amusement park Carowinds (its an amusement park that we have here on the NC/SC state borders) and we went into the theatre and there was a guy that performed a dance to the version of that song by Taco - I remember sitting in the audience being so amazed by that song - so much that I remember that once we were back home , I pranced around the house wearing a Fedora hat and a jacket (2 sizes too big for me LOL) with a cane and dancing to " Puttin' On The Ritz " all around the house for anybody that would watch me . I always had (and I still have) a very vivid imagination for music and dancing . I was such a ham (yes I still am ham) . Those lyrics bring back so much memories for me as I enter the virgin New Year . Thanks for posting those lyrics Crazy Guggenheim :)
