New Year's Day. Husband and I are in bed sick.

We were at my brother-in-law's house for the holidays, which bared no concept of the term "ventilation." Also, my mother-in-law was ill, and they had recently performed construction and failed to clean the drywall dust that caked every corner. Also there were holes in the ceiling in the room we were staying and NOTHING was clean except for their new kitchen. It was truly uncomfortable and fairly disgusting.

We decided to cuddle up together and watch a movie last night with some hot Chinese delivery. Husband is sleeping now, and I am sitting up, congested and bored.

I have a laptop. Any time-killing hints while we are on the mend?

Band of Brothers excellent war movie that is like
4discs. They were showing it on history channel
last night.
Well worth the time.

If not its always a good time to catch up on some
reading or writing to someone long overdue.

2. Oh, god I hear you

we are all sick in my house after I took my sick sister to the doctor the week before xmas. Now all the babies have it, me, grandpa, their daddy. Everybody but their mama. Awful cough, fever, and then on top of it nausea and the other stuff. It's been a week.

I am so bored I have one screen open to DU which is dead as a doornail. I think considering flame bait. The other screen is open to a poker game and that's boring too. I keep losing the same 1000 chips over and over again.

No decent football on. I am watching Shrek for the 3rd time. Just gave the two year old a ba-ba.

I wish we'd get invaded by aliens or something.

Actually I just showered, treated my skin and hair, brushed, flossed and Listerined, and now am in a clean pair of jammies :)

I even put on a bit of perfume. Ha! I feel better already.
