As an Eagles fan, as horribly as we played and still the Redskins only won by eleven points (and with two lucky touchdowns)? I love my boys, but we SUCK this season with all our injuries. And, with Washington playing for their very lives (and against a team that has about 5 starters on the entire team and a shitty 3rd string QB), they should have handily mopped the floor with us.

It's pitiful that if we hadn't 1) fumbled and 2) had a turnover (both returned for touchdowns), you would have gotten beaten by us. That's pretty embarassing. You guys may have made it to the playoffs, but you'll get your asses handed to you there pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Washington and NY (either is better than Dallas, yuck), but you guys played like shit.

27. As far as I can tell, the biggest difference this year is Brunell. Like

many others, I thought he was completely through after seeing him last year... his arm looked like it was finished, his passes had NOTHING on them, even the short ones... I think the biggest difference is that he recovered from whatever was ailing him and his arm, and of course Coach Joe having an extra year to get back into the game.

Watching them lose last year and Kerry lose was a total drag. Maybe this is a good sign of things to come for the 'Skins and the Dems. And, maybe that is just my magical thinking again.
