Computer Help Of The Most Basic Kind |
|
Because I know right next to absolutly nothing.
If I go to E-Bay to buy additional memory for this computer that's making my life so much easier (Dell Dimension 8200, Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz) how on earth do I know which kind to get? I don't know Jack #$%^. It probably shows.
I've got 256 whatever they are's of memory and I think maybe I should double that .... or more?

http://www.4allmemory.com/http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=586829&Sku=ULT30215&SRCCODE=WEBGOOMEM&CMP=KNC-GOOGLhttp://www.memorystock.com/Any one of these will tell you what kind of memory you need. The first one will also scan your computer for you if you don't know what kind of computer you have. And personally, I'd buy from one of these places before buying off ebay.
