America is Obsolete

In watching portions of the Twilight Zone marathon Sunday I saw Obsolete Man . At the end, Rod Serling gave his usual summation and made an important point. A State that does not respect the worth, the rights, the dignity of man is obsolete.

America does not recognize the worth, rights and dignity of women, gays, the disabled, the poor, minorities, the elderly, non-Christians, the mentally-ill, and many others. Accordingly, America is Obsolete.

As an aside, I also saw The Shelter, where a doctor discovers his neighbors are, essentially, neocons.

19. If there's one thing I can say about the Twilight Zone

They had a way of making amazing observations about the human condition. That show, more often than not, is relevant to current life events.
