9. I'll say

The movie didn't do that book justice. When I was reading about the Wendigo I actually got the creeps, whereas the movie didn't scare me at all. At certain points the movie was borderline laughable, and rather annoying. Just one of the unfortunate problems with the translation from print to screen--they often screw it up. :-(
