ginbarn is down in the dumps

She's recuperating at home after damaging her ulnar nerve, possibly during a fall last week in which her closet attacked her. Her wrist might also be broken, but we won't know for sure until she sees the doc tomorrow - the hospital didn't X-ray her, but wrote the cryptic diagnosis "wrist drop" on her chart and sent her home with a prescription for painkillers.

Democratic Underground keeps ginbarn sane, but since she is currently unable to type, she is missing her dose of on-line sanity. She's slowly regaining movement in her hand, but she still feels lousy.

Now she's asking me to tell you she wants a pity party.

She broke a toe on her right foot, too. Hydrocodone is her friend.

11. Update

ginbarn went to her regular doctor today. Turns out she broke more bones than she thought.

She fractured one toe in two places, fractured her right foot, and chipped a bone in her right hand. There's also a chance she broke a bone in her right elbow, which would go a long way in explaining the damage to her ulnar nerve.

She now wants another pity party with a thousand tiny violins.

please forgive my typing. I broke a toe in two places, I brokea carpal bone in my hand a d I may have cracked my elbow. I'm going to an orthopedic surgeon in the next couple of days for my "wrist drop". That's caused by injuiry to my ulner nerve and may require surgery.
