Saw King Kong yesterday...and WOW... |
What a movie. I had heard it was good but I was unprepared for just how good it was. I took my 12 year old boy with me, and he was bawling by the end...never ever seen him come close to crying at a movie before...Peter Jackson is a genius!!!

2. Liked it except for one major thing |
the scene with the dark, incessantly evil, incredibly brutal savages. I (and my eight-year-old niece) could have done without that part.
And yes, it could have been shorter.

3. Yeah that was a bit scary...but it was so well done |
That my heart was pounding at the end of that section. As to its length, I though the slowest part of the movie was the beginning...the pace increased so much so that by the end I was surprised how fast the time had gone by!

4. Agree about the pacing |
Once they got Kong back to New York, the pacing was fine. It was the first two hours they could have edited better.
