He wants to discuss our meeting (I met him, but not with him) and my salary requirement. He said to reply to the mail or call. So, I called and left a message. I'd rather discuss salary on the phone for some reason. I think I'll get a better sense of my negotiating position that way.

4. He just called.

We discussed the company and the work. Then my salary range.
He was glad I called rather than responding with an e-mail, so good guess no.1.
I leaned on my years of experience when I pitched the figure. He responded positively, and will try to talk to the Executive Creative Director, who makes the decision, before the end of the day.
I'll hear something tomorrow at the latest.
