2. Seriously , I went through a breakup ... |

did'nt eat anything for 6 days - I licked an ice cream and watched it melt . Then when I finally woke up and got my sanity back - I had to shop for a new wardrobe .

take out the pickles... and drink the brine.
That oughta take the joy out of eating on several fronts.

12. Both Strattera AND lamictal have side-effects of appetite reduction. |
|
Separately; you need not take both to get the effect.
I'm lucky to force-feed myself 1000 calories per day.
I've ingested only 400 today, so far.
Nor am I hungry.
A little weak, yes, but not hungry.
But at least my bipolar and attention difficulties are under control, hot diggity damn. :sarcasm: x( x( x(

You're right. Yeah, I don't think there's any selfish celebrities who have done the irritable bowel syndrome thing. It's just waiting to be exploited....

22. Maybe I shouldn't say this |
|
But the longer you go without eating, the easier it becomes. I was able to overcome my addiction to needing to eat in about 48 hours. I am not sure if this happens with everyone or just people predisposed to anorexia. Seriously though, don't do it.

24. I don't recommend quitting food cold turkey... |
|
MMMmmm.....that makes me think of a nice hot turkey sandwich smothered in gravy. But, - nevermind that, you probably want to 'step down' from eating, - you know, the way they talk about in those smoking cessation adverts.
I think you should probably go to binge eating first. Eat it, but then yark it up on the shoes of someone you don't much care for.
Chemotherapy can help with that. Hairlessness is trendy in guys these days.
Then, when you're too weak to puke up your food, start eating only things that weigh less than a pound. Like, - you'll note that a whole pot of broccoli is much heavier than an entire Angel Food Cake. Mmmmmm.....Angle Food Cake with that fluffy pink frosting and some strawberries...now there's a treat. But, nevermind that for now.
Twinkies are also nice and light. So, a diet consisting entirely of snack cakes seems like a good plan.
When you get to the point where you can't choke down even one more granule of sugar, you'll be cured of food.
And hey, - good luck with that. :hi:
Good luck.

i am not gonna lead you by the hand anywhere but if you search certain sites, such as diaryland, where angst prevails, and if you daily search certain terms such as pro-ana and pro-mia you'll catch up w. like-minded souls
for awhile there was a movement that pro-ana/mia would wear a wear red bracelet but i only met one that way -- and there are too many bracelets and ribbons these days
keep in mind the side effects, bone loss, tooth loss, hair loss
don't think i'll post more here, this is a true danger-sport, starvation kills ya know, and ya get less glory for dying that way than if you fell off a mountain or got yr bungee cord tangled up, i am in no position to crap on the pro-ana crowd but you are taking yr life in yr hands and you need to be aware of that
