*sigh* 9 more working days until the next vacation
MLK Day on the 16th. Whatever will I do until then?

Movie reviews
"March of the Penguin"- much more of a science class film than I expected. Very good though. What I would really like to see is a "making of" movie on this. How this is proof of "intelligent design" is beyond me. I actually watched the movie looking for what the fundies think is such a selling point for their idea and I have no clue what it is supposed to be.

"Madagascar"- pretty damned funny. The lemurs, penguins (they are everywhere these days), and the poo flinging monkeys made the movie for me. "Smile and wave boys...smile and wave" "Huh? Oh yes of course we are going to fling poo at him"

"Christmas with the Kranks"-avoid it. The tried to make "Funny Farm" about Christmas and it falls much flatter. The set design and clothes were completely wrong. Oh, I hate to say this but, Jamie Lee Curtis was wearing on me after a while-the screaming was just too much. Tim Allen needs to stop making Christmas movies.

5 months today for me NOT SMOKING (164 days).

2. March of the Penguins was good but I had already
seen that basically on Discovery. It was kind of sad when them mama penguin tried to steal the other baby when hers died. Penguins live a tough life.

3. Like I said above
the making of this movie is as interesting to me as is the mating habits of the Emporer Penguin. There were several really sad parts to this movie.

4. Don't ask me on the intelligent design thing.
Then again, I fail to see any evidence of intelligent design. I do see more than enough proof of evolution, however...
