Sinus pressure ugh!!!!!! (no med advice)
Since I cant take antibiotics because I'm on high potent ones to get rid of a c-diff infection and I cant take them for a LOOONG time.. I'm afraid I have a sinus infection. Severe pressure on my left cheek bone and in my left eye and even my top molars hurt like hell. What do you do to relieve sinus pressure? I tried the irrigation and that burned like hell and ugggh.. I dont want to relive that experience. Suggestions?

I got Vicks sinus spray and hat seems to temporarily reduce the pressure. My allergist told me that my sinuses are inflamed and we have to get my allergies under control to get them to reduce in size.

THIS HURTS UGGGH.

I'm going to docs on thursday and see what he says.. until then.. ugggh!!! Help :)

I just went to a neuro-opthamologist so I know nothings wrong with my eyes, so it has to be my sinuses!!

Thanks for the  !!! I keep rubbing my cheek and it makes it feel a little better.

5. I can do the decongestant.. no amoxicillin for me.
I keep reading horror stories about people letting their sinus infections go w/o antibiotics and I'm :scared: . I think I have some Rhinocort left so I'm going to try that.. burns like fire but hope it gives me some relief.

3. I was going to suggest Vicks but I see you already do that.
How about frequent, hot showers?

Looks incredibly uncomfortable!!!!!! I hope its not like the bulb syringe thing I used. I did a saltwater mix and boy I think my eyes burned for the next 2 days.

8. I had a Sinus Infection for 4 months. I relieved a lot of the Pressure by.
..getting in the shower and gradually turning the hot water higher and higher
(as it ran on the back of my neck) until I could hardy stand it..but Damn!..it felt good for about 8 hours after stepping out of the shower..

11. Hot showers, hot tea (same idea as the shower),
Vicks (I use the rub for everything. I even sniff it) and some Tylenol or some cold medicine.
I get them all the time and I use these little remedies as temporary relief. I also boil water on the stove and cover my head w/ a towel, breathing in the steam. Works faster than anything else.
