Why am I not sleeping?
It's nearly 3:30 AM, I have to be up at 6 to get the kids off to school, and here I am. I just started a load of laundry, and don't feel tired at all.

2. Yeah, I've been on a sleep kick lately
Now, I'm wide awake and running. I was like this during Katrina. My TV stayed on CNN, I stayed on DU, and I didn't sleep.

3. If I knew the answer to that question.....
...I'd be taking my own advice and wouldn't be awake to not know what the fuck to say.....

(Yes, I am slowly going insane from sleep deprivation. I thought that once they changed Mike Malloy's timeslot to a more reasonable hour I might be able to fall asleep by midnight or 1:00 AM. No such luck :( )

4. Well, today was the first day back at school for the kids
I really didn't do much of anything all day, just enjoyed the quiet. Maybe I'm too rested?

5. It's too late now
But some other time if you need some sleep, try Meletonin. You can get in in any health food store or even Wal Mart. Take one 3mg at bedtime and should be able to sleep quite well w/no grogginess. Even my mother (a nurse) who often hesitates to take Tylenol uses it!
