8. thank you
Good to see you again too. Hope you had a good start into 2006.

I am taking heavy pain killers already. But they don't take the pain away 100%. And that is the mean part.

7. Damn MissHoneychurch....
...please take my advice on the previous thread if the pain doesn't go away. I didn't realize it was that constant. How long did he/she say it would go on before you stopped suffering?....

10. He didn't say
but the treatment will only start Friday when I get that splint(?).

Yes the pain is constant. It never goes away. I hope the pill I just took is hitting soon, so that the pain is getting numb. But it is there the whole time.

13. Ibuprofen is OK, especially for bone pains as you've noted....
....just don't take them forever. They can rot your stomach out, too! Have you looked into any homeopathic remidies?....

16. I just got Ibuprofen 600 yesterday
the Ibuprofen 400 I had before didn't help at all. Do you really think that homeopathic doses will help here? And I only get the Ibuprofen on prescription, so I am not able to keep re-stacking it forever.

...homeopathic doctor. A qualified/competent homeopathic doctor will be the first to send you for tests if he/she thinks its TMJ. And if it's not, they can treat you to help to alleviate your pain and problem. Here's a source for qualified practioners... Homeopathyhome.com

Also, these sites may be of benefit... abchomeopathy.com and e-homeopathy.com

Hope these help...

20. Hey, it was a German, Samuel Hahnemann, who created....
...homeopathy in the late 1700's. So I 'm sure you could Google some good sources there...

Here's an excellent article about it in this months "Ode"... http://www.odemagazine.com/article.php?aID=4222

I wish I could.

Have you any black tea? Tannin can do wonders for some types of pain. I've actually put tea bags in my mouth to help toothache.
