1. It's not the end of the world
I think the smartest move is to make small changes instead of drastic ones.

If you have burgers once a week, have them twice a month instead. That way you won't feel deprived.

Drink diet soda instead of regular.

Add a 20 minute walk to your day, at least 3 times per week.

Small changes are the ones that you will be able to sustain.

2. I just started power walking again.
An hour a day, weather permitting. And cutting down on the fat intake.

4. no don't drink diet soda
either try sweet iced tea (about one tenth the sugar of soda) or even koolaid - about half the sugar of soda. Real sugar has got to be healthier than the crud in diet sodas - and everyone I have ever known who drinkds them alsays uses them as justification for eating something high calorie...might as well have the soda!

3. just buy the 93% lean
meat or even better, ground turkey. provolone comes in fat free these days, too right? you can make a really healthy burger...just broil it or grill it instead of sauteeing in oil. you'll be just fine.

agree with the previous poster. make small changes and it won't be as drastic a shock.
