Bush who?

5. that might be getting carried away
vince young will be drafted high, no doubt, but i'll bet bush will be the number one draft pick. Vince can play in the nfl, but (as demonstrated by michael vick) abnormally exciting and athletic college QBs don't necessarily take the pros by storm ...

10. Lienart is a senior this is his last year.
and Bush has already said he is going pro, this year. Young has pretty much said he is coming back. He would not go in the first round if he came out.

12. Not with the QB situation right now in the NFL
They are really not looking for QBs. He might go but it is not a guarentee. He can wait one more year and make it more certain. Hey next year he could win the Heisman.

16. They might, but
There are others already in the NFL that can help them meet the salary cap.

2. Yeah, good job cheaters.
You guys should have never had that one touchdown count, you're SO lucky no one reviewed it.

Just sayin' - that TD should have never counted :)

8. There was an interception by Texas that was not reviewed
and USC scored after that, so it was a give and take.

9. That wasn't 'cheating' on Texas' part
It was poor strategy on SC's by not challenging it.

I was pulling for SC, but let's be accurate, shall we?

21. Not Cheating. Bad coaching
Damn what a good game! What was the over/under? I'm pretty sure it was lower than 79 points!

26. I believe there are no coaches challenges in college FB.
So, SC couldn't "challenge" it. Texas hurried to get the extra point snap off before the officials upstairs could review it, which they did, and it's also probably why they missed that extra point - they were rushing because they knew that TD was illegal.

Again, didn't really care who won (don't care for USC or UT), just saying - Texas had 6 points they never should have had.

butts, both this year and in 2003 if they would've faced USC in the BCS

Without that USC would be National Champions!
And what was up with that time out?

What a STUPID thing to happen for USC. I can't remember who did it, but you know he's not popular right now.

20. I hear ya.
I just couldn't bring myself to believe in the SC myth/mystique. Real football is played down around the Red River. Now if those orange jerseys had been crimson... Well give the Sooners a couple of years and they'll be back!

Congrats Texas!
