Why do guys sound like they are being murdered when they watch football?

There are guys in my neighborhood that sound like they are being attacked by psycho killers with chainsaws. But all that's really happening is a USC game on TV.

Not true...

...I love watching the Steelers play football every week because I have been doing so since I was little. Plus like anything you enjoy watching on TV its fun living vicariously through those performers/athletes during those dramatic times.

5. They are reliving their youth, and relishing their own days playing

or projecting themselves into a role they were not quite up to when they were young..vicarious voyeurs of the macho lifestyle they always wanted, but never quite got.. It hurts sometimes:)
