I clicked on your thread b/c we actually have a giant "Happy Buddha" statue at the end of our driveway, that was the Christmas Buddha in December. He's got a big ole belly like your son, which passersby rub for good luck and leave offerings. We always decorate him accordingly with the holidays, throughout the year. He really was the Christmas Buddha, wearing a Santa hat and having a wreath at his feet. heheh. Very cute.
