I am reading over one and there are two sections for the bequests. One is for tangible property (which says it includes personal property, clothing, furniture, car, etc. and also all cash and monies in bank accounts) and the other is residuary estate. I know that is supposed to be what is left over after bills are paid. Don't they just pay bills and whatever is left over is dispersed? I am kinda confused on what is going to be considered residuary. I know when my brother executed my mother's will the bills were paid and then the remainder dispersed but she didn't have the residuary thing in hers. Why is it worded that way?

1. Some wills are just worded different. |

And there are different laws depending on what state you live in.
