3. No, but my mom spent about half an hour over here, having some sort of

cathartic experience, espousing what an inadequate parent she'd been and detailing all the things she "should've" done differently with/for me. I can only surmise that if she thinks she failed as a parent, then she must also think that I am her failure. Nice. Whatever.

Nothing but and he still seems to have trouble viewing me as anything but a wilful teenager (I'm 45, mother of 3, grandmother of 3 more).

I don't get it because I see my 23 and 25 year old daughters as grown women. :shrug:
