Tattoos on the palm?
Does anyone have a tattoo on their palm? I'm thinking of getting one on each hand. Pros/Cons?

2. I don't think you can tattoo palms...
I think the ink doesn't stay. Otherwise, I'd say that you need to think about normal tattoo stuff, such as professional appearance if it matters to you, plus the fact that it will be painful to get done, if it's possible, and you won't be able to use your hands much for a bit.

14. Eh, that lacks symmetry.
Thumbsup on the Pogues, though.

12. wow
Those do look cool. And not all that different from Pagan symbols for the elements. Something to consider for later. :)

7. Are you OK with not washing your hands for weeks?
I'd also imagine one's normal sweat would help work out some of the ink during the healing time anyway, more so than any other place on the body.

10. Sorry, typo
Should have read a week. And FWIW my chest tattoo took longer than one week to heal.

11. These wouldn't be very big
Maybe the size of a half dollar. I'm thinking keeping them covered would be okay. Thanks for the insight though. It is a big decision. My main reason for wanting it on my palms is so I'd be constantly reminded of something. And also for a "it's in the palm of my hands" type thing. ;)

13. I think it's a great idea
I remember a coworker a few years back got a cute little spiral on the inside of her left ring finger, but it was gone within a few weeks - that's what prompted my thoughts about the sweat maybe pushing the ink out more quickly... Good luck!
